BECOME A VOLUNTEER
Our goal is to ensure that all volunteer candidates are well-suited to our mission and can positively impact both our organization and the communities we serve.
Minimum Requirements
- Time Commitment: Volunteer a minimum of 4 hours per month.
- Event Participation: Attend at least one event annually.
- Meeting Attendance: Participate in monthly meetings, which are held on the third Tuesday of each month.
Training Requirements
- New Volunteers are required to complete four online training courses to become affiliated with the Daisy Mountain Fire Department Citizen Corps Programs.
- Annual Training: Existing volunteers must complete four online courses annually and CPR-AED-First Aid card to maintain their affiliation with the DMFMCC programs.
- These training sessions ensure that all volunteers are well-prepared and up-to-date with the skills and knowledge needed for effective service.
Daisy Mountain Fire Department Citizen Corps Volunteer Process:
- Submit a Citizen Corps Volunteer Application (SEE BELOW)
- Volunteer Interview
- Complete a NEW AZ-DPS and FBI fingerprint process.
- Current AZ Driver’s License combined with a ADOT 39-month driving record (SEE BELOW)
- Complete the Welcome Packet and required Training
- Hep B Vaccination Packet
- Current CPR-AED-First Aid card ( Offered free of charge to all volunteers)
