Elective Training

Elective Training is required to meet typing standards that have been established by Daisy Mountain Fire & Medical, the Arizona Division of Emergency Management, and the Arizona State Citizen Corps Council and are documented in the Resource Typing Matrix.

BECOME A VOLUNTEER

Type 4 Volunteer Standards

All Type 4 members may volunteer for events and incidents inside the Daisy Mountain Fire District.

Type 3 Volunteer Standards

Meets Type 4 requirements plus all Type 3 requirements and may volunteer for events and incidents inside and outside the Daisy Mountain Fire District.

Type 2 Volunteer Standards

(Supervisor Group Leader) - While Type 2 training is open to anyone, Type 2 credentials are issued at the discretion of the Daisy Mountain Fire and Medical Citizen Corps and involves an interview and testing process. At the present time, no Type 2 credentials are being issued.

Type 1 Volunteer Standards

(Manager/Team Leader) - While Type 1 training is open to anyone, Type 1 credentials are issued at the discretion of the Daisy Mountain Fire and Medical Citizen Corps and involves an interview and testing process. At the present time, no Type 1 credentials are being issued.
