Type 1 Volunteer Standards

Volunteers who meet all Type 5, Type 4, Type 3, Type 2 and Type 1 requirements may, at their sole discretion, volunteer for events and incidents inside and outside the Daisy Mountain Fire District.

Type 1 training is open to anyone, Type 1 credentials are issued at the discretion of the Daisy Mountain Fire Department Citizen Corps (DMFDCC) and involves an interview and testing process. At the present time, no Type 1 credentials are being issued.

G-400 Advanced ICS

Renewal Requirement: None, but periodic review is encouraged.

  • This training is best completed through the Arizona Division of Emergency Management, with more information and registration available at the Event Registration and Management Application (ERMA) webpage. Other certified providers are acceptable. This is a multi-day training and is only presented in a class room environment, and is not a regularly scheduled training. Upon completion, email the certification document to CitizenCorps@DMFD.org.
