Type 4 Volunteer Standards

Volunteers who meet all Type 5 requirements and all Type 4 requirements may, at their sole discretion, volunteer for events and incidents inside and outside the Daisy Mountain Fire District.

CERT Training - G-317

Prerequisite: None

Renewal Requirement: Every 5 years complete IS-317.A: Introduction to CERT

Proficiency: 70% minimum

Since this course is a standard 20-hour FEMA curriculum, if you completed the course through an authorized provider other than Daisy Mountain Fire Department, you may email your certificate to CitizenCorps@DMFD.org to demonstrate that this requirement has been fulfilled.

Tactical Communications

Prerequisite: None

Renewal Requirement: None, periodic review is encouraged.

Proficiency: 80% minimum

IS-700 National Incident Management System (NIMS) An Introduction

Prerequisite: None

Renewal Requirement: Every 5 years complete IS-700, periodic review is encouraged.

Upon completion, email the certification document to CitizenCorps@DMFD.org.

IS-100 Introduction to Incident Command System

Prerequisite: None

Renewal Requirement: Every 5 years complete IS-100, periodic review is encouraged.

Upon completion, email the certification document to CitizenCorps@DMFD.org.
